How We Started
Big Blue Wrap and Roll was started by brothers, Pete and Tom Boyle after the restaurant industry and food workers suffered significant sales and job losses during the COVID-19 pandemic. Both Pete and Tom have a combined 50 years experience in all aspects of the restaurant industry.
Their desire to utilize that experience made the transition to starting Big Blue almost seamless. They started as a small food vendor, hauling their equipment to events in a rented trailer and cooking under a tent. Their business grew quickly and in July 2022, they purchased a food truck and began participating in bigger events with much larger crowds. At each event, Big Blue continued to receive rave reviews on their food and have been invited back to future events.
Their success accelerated the timeline for the next phase of their business plan - providing catering services. With their many contacts in the restaurant industry, knowledge of all available catering halls throughout Ocean and Monmouth Counties, and their commitment to provide quality food at a reasonable price they are looking forward to a very successful event and catering business.
